Plants use energy from the sun to convert carbon dioxide into water. This implies the correct answer is B.

The plant absorbed light energy directly from the sun which is then transformed into carbon dioxide and water into food.  This process is what is called photosynthesis.

<h2>Further Explanation</h2>

The process in which the green plants manufactured their food is known as photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, the green plants get energy from the sunlight and change it into chemical energy.

However, there are processes involves in photosynthesis and these include oxygenic photosynthesis and anoxygenic photosynthesis, although both processes are similar, however, oxygenic photosynthesis  is mostly seen in green plants

In oxygenic photosynthesis, the sunlight energy transport electron from water to carbon dioxide to generate carbohydrate. Two things happen during the electron transfer: the carbon dioxide is reduced and water also loses electrons. In the end, the oxygenic process will produce oxygen and carbohydrates.

Oxygenic photosynthesis is meant to make up for respiration because it absorbed the carbon dioxide that is produced by living organisms and releases oxygen back to the atmosphere.

However, the difference between the two photosynthetic processes is that one produces oxygen while the other does not produce oxygen.

Therefore, Plants use energy from the sun to convert carbon dioxide into water

Why would the cells of the palisades layer have more chloroplasts in them
mel-nik [20]

Answer:

Because they re located in the leaves, the part of the plan with wider area to receive the sunlight

Explanation:

Palisade cells are the plant cells that contain the largest amount of chloroplast per cell, this is convenient because they can be found on leaves, the portion of the plant with a wider superficial area, this means that a larger number of chloroplasts will receive the sunlight and therefore this will benefit the photosynthesis process.

I hope you find this information useful and interesting! Good luck!

DNA Group of answer choices contains the base uracil. contains six different nucleotide bases. is single stranded. directs cellu
Leokris [45]

Nucleic acid:

DNA is responsible for directing the cellular function. The nucleic acids are responsible for the storage of genetic information.

The DNA and RNA are the nucleic acids present in an organism. The DNA is the double stranded helix and comprises of sugars, nitrogenous base and a phosphate group. Deoxyribose is the sugar present along with 4 nitrogenous bases which are adenine, guanine, thymine and cytosine. These bases code for proteins which are responsible for carrying out range of activities such as cell growth, cell division and cell signalling.

RNA has ribose sugar and 4 nitrogenous base. Thymine is replaced by uracil in RNA. There are three types of RNA: rRNA, mRNA, and tRNA.
