Answer: Professor Zale is utilizing the LOOKING GLASS SELF process.

Explanation: The looking glass self is a concept that was developed by Charles Horton Cooley a Sociologist in the year 1902.

It is a concept that explains how we think we appear to others.

He took into account three steps for this to looking glass self to come into full effect. They are

1) the first step is how we imagine we look to others

2) the second step is how we imagine the judgement of others based on what we think they see us.

3) the third step is how we think of the judgment of others based on previous experiences.

All these are evident in what Professor Zale views herself based on the interaction she receives from students in her class.
