Bardstown also known as Bourbon Capital of the World is a small town in America. It is registered as a historic district and the early catholicity of Kentucky was epicentered at Bradstown.  The most important building in this regard is St Joseph Catholic Church due to which Bardstown became the first home of Saint Joseph Proto-Cathedral. Settlement started in the 1770s. The catholic colonies migrated to Ketuchney and setteled at the Bradstown one after the other such as William coomes, Haydons, and Lancasters, In 1780,  William Bard David's brother laid the foundation for Bard’s town which was later recognized as Bardstown in 1838.
