Answer:

Explanation:

There are three types of activities in the cash flow statement which are described below:

1. Operating activities: It includes those transactions which affect the working capital after net income. The increase in current assets and a decrease in current liabilities would be deducted whereas the decrease in current assets and an increase in current liabilities would be added.

These changes in working capital would be adjusted. Moreover, the depreciation expense is added to the net income and it also records the cash receipts and cash payment transactions

2. Investing activities: It records those activities which include purchase and sale of the long term assets. The purchase is an outflow of cash whereas sale is an inflow of cash

3. Financing activities: It records those activities which affect the long term liability and shareholder equity balance. The issue of shares is an inflow of cash whereas redemption and dividend is an outflow of cash.

The categorization is shown below:

a. Cash purchase of merchandise inventory - operating activity

b. Cash payment of dividend - financing activity

c. Cash receipt from the collection of long-term notes receivable - investing activity

d. Cash payment for income taxes - operating activity

e. Purchase of equipment in exchange for notes payable - non cash activity

f. Cash receipt from the sale of land - investing activity

g. Cash received from borrowing money - financing activity

h. Cash receipt for interest income - operating activity

i. Cash receipt from the issuance of common stock - financing activity

j. Cash payment of salaries dividends - operating activity

ale4655 [162]

Answer:

generally you need to determine the cost per unit, but in this case you are given a percentage of depletion = 10% x $225,000 = $22,500 which determines the inventory value (or depletion expense if the timber is sold) during the year.

the journal entry should be:

December 31, 20xx

Dr Timber inventory 22,500

Cr Accumulated depletion - timber tract 22,500

tankabanditka [31]

Answer: D. All of the above

Explanation: The three options listed could explain why the productivity of labor increased with a reduction in the quantity of labor hired. The law of diminishing returns states that as more and more inputs of production are added, a time comes in when additional inputs causes no corresponding increase in productivity. At points like this a reduction in the input added would restore productivity.

Reducing the amount of labor obviously is a labour saving technical change. Changes in organizational innovation can also result in changes in productivity.

The terms of a partnership agreement provide that one of the partners is to receive a salary allowance of $30,000, plus a bonus
Pavel [41]

Answer:

The correct answer is C: Bonus= $24000

Explanation:

The terms of a partnership agreement provide that one of the partners is to receive a salary allowance of $30,000, plus a bonus of 20 percent of income after deduction of the salary allowance.

The formula to calculate the bonus is:

Bonus=0,20*(Income-salary)

If income is $150000

Bonus= 0,20*(150000-30000)=$24000

Assuming an upward-sloping as curve, if consumption spending falls while all other levels of expenditure stay the same in an economy that is at full employment, a GDP gap will be visible.

Retail store managers will take activities that result in greater Unemployment when undesirable inventories build up.

What is GDP?

  • Gross domestic product (GDP) is a monetary indicator of the total market worth of all the finished products that nations create over a certain time period.
  • This measurement is frequently changed before it can be trusted as an indicator because of how complicated and subjective it is.
  • Consumption, investment, government spending, exports, and imports make up the components of the GDP when it is calculated using the expenditures method.
  • Gross fixed capital formation, changes in inventories, changes in consumption expenditure (by households, NPISHs, and general government),
  • And exports of goods and services are all included in the calculation of gross domestic product (GDP), which is then subtracted from imports of goods and services.
