Set up a system of equations.
l=4w
2l+2w=110

Substitute l in to the second equation.
2(4w)+2w=110
8w+2w=110
10w=110
w=11

Substitute w back into the first equation.
l=4(11)=44

So, the length is 44 feet and the width is 11 feet.

Hope this helped!

45 cookies will serve 15 students.

You would multiply 15 by 2 that would give you 30, therefore you multiply 45 by 2 which will be 90.

Your proportion should look something like this

\frac{x}{6} =  \frac{6}{4}

After cross multiplication, you should end up with this equation

4x=36

After dividing 4 on both sides, you should get that x=9
