The answer to this question is 138. With any flat line, the angles always equal 180 degrees. To solve this, work backwards, and find x. First, create an equation. This equation will be 15x - 30 = 180 (Combine all angles and equal 180.) Next, add 30 to both sides to get 15x = 210. Finally, divide both sides by 15, and you get x=14. Now, multiply 12 by 14, and you get 168. Subtract 30 from that and you get 138. To check this, solve the other angle by multiplying 3 by 14, and you get 42. Add 42 and 138 to make sure it equals 180, and it does! I hope this helped! Could I possibly get brainliest?

It is C because a straight line is 180 degrees, eliminating A. That being said, the “bigger angle” is 12x-30 because it is obtuse. B and D are both acute, while C is obtuse. You can also find the answer by finding x as in the equation 3x+(12x-30)=180. By simplification, x=14. So, plugging it in, 12(14)-30=138.

Security A rounds every 2 minutes and 20 seconds in the gate 1. Security B
JulsSmile [24]

Answer:

They will do rounds together again in 11 minutes and 40 seconds.

Step-by-step explanation:

Security A rounds every 2 minutes and 20 seconds in the gate 1.

That is, after 2*60 + 20 = 120 + 20 = 140 seconds.

Security B rounds every 1 minute and 40 seconds in the gate 2.

That is, after 1*60 + 40 = 60 + 40 = 100 seconds.

After how many minutes they will rounds together again?

First, we find this is seconds, which is the least common multiple between 140 and 100. Factoring them by prime factors:

140 - 100|2

70 - 50|2

35 - 25|5

7 - 5|5

7 - 1|7

1 - 1

lcm(140,100) = 2*2*5*5*7 = 700 seconds

They will do rounds together again in 700 seconds, which is 11 minutes and 40 seconds.

Free_Kalibri [48]
Find the 100% of that. Since plain hot dog is just 26% of total. So $45.50 multiplied by 100/26. Which is $175
