           "The Monkey's Paw" is a collection of short stories. It was written by famous author, W. W. Jacobs. It is collection of supernatural stories. This book was published in England.

            In the story, the owner was granted three wishes but all these wish comes with a price and plays with his destiny and fate. The main idea of the story " the Monkey's Paw" or the theme is that fate or destiny rules our life and if someone interferes with his destiny, then he will have to suffer its consequences. The interference with one fate comes with great price.

             The story revolves about the couple Mr. and Mrs. White who founds the Money's paw that was spelled by a fakir. They wished for wishes to come true that will change their fate. Though their wish was granted but it came with a huge price as Herbert dies at an accident as the wish was fulfilled.
