Leading up to the french and indian war, the british were
stellarik [79]

During the French and Indian War, the british were allies of the side of the British indians.

The French and Indian War (1754–1763) was a confrontation between the British colonies and the colony of New France in North America. During the conflict, each side was supported by military forces from its parent country and by American Indian-native allies. The French were outnumbered (60,000 settlers against 2 million inhabitants in the British colonies), and had to rely more on the Indians.

It was a singular conflict. Even tough the European powers participated somehow, it is not regarded in America as a conflict associated to them at all.

SOVA2 [1]

D. Restore dignity and independence to those countries.

Explanation:

When the United States joined World War I on the side of the Allies, they didn't necessarily want to. President Woodrow Wilson was a pacifist, he strived for peace. He was against having the United States join a war, as he cared for his people and the country. After the Zimmerman Telegram, Wilson was left with no choice but to declare war.

Even during the war, Woodrow Wilson's peaceful approaches shined through. His main goal was to create peace, not only for the United States but for everyone. He wrote the Fourteen Points, which was an outline for peace on all sides.

The Fourteen Points were goals that were striving towards peace. Woodrow Wilson wanted German troops to be removed from lands like Belgium, so they could become independent and restore dignity to those countries. Not all people agreed with Wilson's approach, many thought Germany should have harsher repercussions after the war.

TIMED! ESSAY: From 1855 to 1890, western settlement increasingly brought Americans and American Indians into conflict with one a
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

Westward expansion beyond the American frontier was one of the most significant historical events in North American history. The United States quickly became one of the twentieth century’s most powerful nations after settling more than three million square miles of rich, diverse land. Despite the rewards, the expansion resulted in great destruction, suffering, and cultural loss to Native American peoples. Warfare between whites and Native Americans began as early as 1809 and ended in 1890, when the Indians were ultimately defeated and forced to live on reservations. Despite heavy military involvement in the Indian Wars, the final conquest of Native Americans rested squarely on the shoulders of the vast numbers of white settlers who wrested land from the native peoples. After 1800, the United States militantly expanded westward across the continent. Rooted in the idea of manifest destiny, the United States considered it a God-given right and duty to gain control of the continent and spread the benefits of its “superior” culture. Illustrated by the white, blonde, feminine figure of Columbia, the historical personification of the United States, people saw the nation’s mission as one of bringing education, modern technology, and civilization to the West and driving away the “uncivilized” American Indians.
