Mathematics

So as before:
do the same to both sides
with one unknown, get it on  one side so

3.3-x=3(x-1.7)
so distribute meaning multiply x and -1.7 by 3 (remember that negative times positive =negative)

3.3-x=3x-5.1
I usually like positive unknowns so
add x to both sides
3.3=4x-5.1
add 5.1 to both sides
8.4=4x
divide both sides by 4
2.1=x

3.3- x = 3( x-1.7) 3.3 - x = 3x - 5.1 8.4=3x+x 8.4=4x 8.4/4=x x=2.1

PLEASE HELP 30 POINTS.
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Note that the four input values, {3,4,6,11}, are all unique.  Each has exactly one y value associated with it.  This is an important criterion when we're deciding whether a relation is a function or not.

Suppose that we added one more input and its associated output:

{3,4,4,6,11}

If it happened that different values of y were associated with the two 4's, then we know immediatel that this relation is not a function.

Kipish [7]

Answer:

The rules of a contest say that there is a 9% chance of winning a prize. Six hundred people enter the contest. Predict how many people will win a prize?

9/100 x 600= 54

Step-by-step explanation:

From the above analogy, it shows that 9% of the entire 600 people will win the prize of the contest. this means that out of 600 people 54 people has the chance to clinch the medal while 546 has the remaining percentage
