Answer: The correct answer is $111.09.

Explanation: The store pays $ 552 for the clarinet. The markup is 20 1/8%.

552 x 20 1/8 (changed to a decimal= 0.20125)

552 x 0.20125= $ 111.09 is the markup on the clarinet. So the actual price on the clarinet after the markup is applied would be $ 663.09

lyudmila [28]

Answer:

The other items you could have purchased with your $50

Explanation:

Opportunity cost represent the loss of potential benefit that occurs when you choose an alternative decision. This concept is usually used by businesses during their budget allocation process in order to find out the best way how to spend their capital.

On the example above, You receive $50 as a birthday gift. That $50 can be used for anything. You can choose to use it to purchase games, clothing, foods, etc. But you decided to spent it on wallpaper. By purchasing the ability you lose the opportunity to buy any of those other things. This loss is what considered as opportunity cost.

Cultural Rights Vs. Women’s Rights: How do we strike a balance?
Readme [11.4K]
In an ideal world all human beings will be treated equally, regardless of their gender or ethnicity. In fact, article 2 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: “Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.” However in reality this is not practiced. Before it  discuss the challenges I will look at the background of both cultural and religious groups rights and women’s rights. Will Kymlicka (1995) lays down two different kinds of group rights. The first is minority rights that protects the interests of their members and secondly rights which impose restrictions on its members, such as some cultural groups that set prohibitions and regulations on women.
