Confucius was a Chinese teacher, philosopher and politician during 500 BC. Among his famous teachings is the Golden rule: 'Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself'. Therefore, teachers treat him as their patron because of all his contributions in the concepts of morality, and loyalty and respect among family members. A great teacher himself, Confucius is treated as an important person such that they celebrate his birthday to give him honor.
