3.963 us liquid gallons

Remark

It depends on where you live. In the United States the conversion factor is 3.78 L = 1 US gallon. Car lots in Canada still use the Imperial Gallon because it is larger and you get more miles to the gallon with a large gallon.

Solution

1 US gallon = 3.78 L

x US gallons = 15 L

1/x = 3.78/15            Cross multiply

3.78 x = 15               Divide by 3.78

x = 15/3.78

x = 3.968

Note: Since the question says approximately you have to round to something. I would try 4 US gallons.

An Imperial gallon is 4.5 Liters if you live in Canada or the United States.

The revenue generated by the band is given by the expression 50x+150y.
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

They exceed their goal by $150.

Step-by-step explanation:

If x = weekday shows and y = weekend shows, then

50(15) + 150(6)

750 + 900 = 1650

1650 - 1500 = 150

Given $dc = 7$, $cb = 8$, $ab = \frac{1}{4}ad$, and $ed = \frac{4}{5}ad$, find $fc$. Express your answer as a decimal.
Pachacha [2.7K]

A ↔ B ↔ C ↔ D ↔ E ↔ F

 \frac{1}{4} AD      8      7      \frac{4}{5} AD   ???

AB + BC + CD = AD   <em>segment addition postulate</em>

\frac{1}{4} AD   +   8   +   7   = AD

\frac{1}{4} AD   +       15        = AD

AD         + 60    = 4AD

                  60    = 3AD

                  20    = AD

AB =  \frac{1}{4} AD    =  \frac{1}{4}(20)    = 5

DE =  \frac{4}{5}AD   =  \frac{4}{5}(5)    = 4

CD + DE + EF = CF   <em>segment addition postulate</em>

7   +   4   + EF  = CF

     11        + EF  = CF

Answer: 11 + EF

Note: You did not provide any info about EF.  If you have additional information that you did not type in, calculate EF and add it to 11 to find the length of CF.

It would be an average of about 8.00 (7.99 to be somewhat exact). You get this by dividing the total amount by 200, the dividing that by 363.

The area of a triangular block is 81 square inches. If the base of the triangle is twice the height, how long are the base and t
Gre4nikov [31]

Answer:

18 inches and 9 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, The base of a triangle is twice of the height.

Area = 81 sq inches

Let, Base (b) = 2x

Height (h) = x

Area of the triangle = \frac{1}{2}bh

\frac{1}{2}bh = 81

or, x^{2} = 8

Base = 2×9 inches = 18 inches

Height = 9 inches
