Answer:

(A). It is given that the production function is Y_{t} = 2K_{t}^{0.5}. All the variables are in per workers terms. Like y) is output per worker and lu is the capital-labor ratio.

The Depreciation rate is ∞ = 0.04 and the Savings rate is S_{t} = 0.2

a) At steady-state the change in capital is zero. The calculation of capital-labor ratio given steady state is as follows:

Δk = 0

SY_{t} -  ∞K_{t} = 0

0.2(2K_{t}^{0.5} ) = 0.04K_{t}

0.4K_{t}^{0.5} = 0.04K_{t}

K_{t} = 100

Thus, the steady-state value of the capital-labor ratio is K_{t} = 100

(b) to calculate consumption per worker, first calculate the output per worker and then calculate the consumption per worker. The calculations are as follows:

Y_{t}  = 2K_{t}^{0.5}

Y_{t}  = 2(100)^{0.5}

Y_{t}  = 2(10)

Y_{t}  = 20

The output per worker is 20

The calculation of steady-state value of the consumption per worker is as follows

C= (1—s) y

C = (1— 0.2)20

C= 0.8 x 20

C = 16

Thus, the consumption per worker at the steady state is 16

Answer:

a) K_t 100

b) Y_t = 200

Explanation:

When the economy is at steady state then, it will grow at zero it is only replacing for the depreciate capital.

So, savings times income (investment) matches Capital times depreciation rate

S \times Y_t = d \times K

0.2(2K_t^{0.5})= 0.04K_t\\0.4K_t^{0.5} = 0.04K_t\\K_t = (\frac{0.04K_t}{0.4})^2 \\K_t = 0.01K_t^2\\\\0 = 0.01K_t^2 - K_t\\$We solve the root: K_t = 100

(The previous istep is made with the quadratic formula)

second question:

Now, we solve for C per worker at this rate

Y_t= 2K_t^{0.5}\\Y_t = 2(100)^{0.5}\\\\Y_t = 20

kodGreya [7K]

Answer: Core customer value

Explanation:

Core customer value could be seen as focusing on customers who basically buy your product and what can be done to keep them or improve services for them. Most manufactures are on the lookout on what their customers really want and how they can give it to them in a great manner which would also be affordable. Customers are gold, hence, when not treated well they can be lost to another manufacturer considering the competition of the market. Core customer value focuses on what better can the manufacturer offer the customer.

jeyben [28]

Answer:

$63,852

Explanation:

The computation is shown below:

a) PV of payments is

= $23,500 × (1.07^30 - 1) ÷ (0.07 × 1.07^30)

= $2,91,612

b) The Loan PV of payments is $3,00,000

c) And, the Balloon payment required is

= (Borrowed amount - loan PV payments) × (1 + rate of interest)^number of years

= ($300,000 - $291,612) × 1.07^30

= $63,852

vladimir2022 [97]

In the forbes article, kotlikoff explains that saving and investing decisions should be guided by strategies that maximize expected utility.

Saving can mean a variety of things to various people. Some believe that it requires making a bank deposit. Investing in stocks or making contributions to a retirement plan are some more definitions. Conversely, according to economists, saving is the act of using less of a specific amount of resources today in order to consume more later. So, the choice to delay consumption and put that delayed consumption in an asset is what is meant by saving.

Saving is either deferred consumption or revenue that is not spent. Putting money aside in various accounts, such as a savings account, a pension account, an investment fund, or in cash, counts as a saving strategy. In order to save, expenses like recurrent charges must be reduced.

Which of the following statements is false? a. A credit is a deposit to a checking account. b. A debit is a withdrawal from a ch
allsm [11]

Answer:

c. An overdraft is a fee your bank charges you for opening a checking account.

Explanation:

Checking account is a deposit account with a bank or any  financial institution that allows the owner of such account to make withdrawals and deposits. They are also known as demand accounts or transactional accounts. They are very liquid and allows for countless deposits and withdrawals and can be obtained  by using automated teller machines, checks and electronic debits, and a number of  other methods.

A checking account is unlike other bank accounts like less liquid savings or investments account it allows for countless withdrawals and unlimited deposits, and savings accounts sometimes limit both.

The statement that an overdraft is a fee that banks charges for opening a checking account is false.

Overdraft is a form of extension of credit from a finiancial institution and often granted when an account reaches zero. it allow such account holder to continue withdrawing money even though the account has no funds  or insufficient funds that would cater  for and cover the amount of the withdrawal. So it is not the fee that bank charges for opening a checking account, instead what checking account offers is overdraft protection in which if a checking account owner write a check or make a purchase than the funds in the checking account, the bank may cover the difference.
