Not sure if 13x-10 or 3x-10 since that is an 'l' so therefor I will solve for both
they add to 90 so add the  2 angles
if 13x-10 go to AAAAAAAA
if 3x-10 then go to BBBBBBBB

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
2x-10+13x-10=90
group like terms
2x+13x-10-10=90
addd liket erms
15x-20=90
add 20 to  both sides
15x=110
divide both sides by 15
x=22/3
subsitute
2x-10
2(22/3)-10
44/3-10
14 and 2/3-10
4 and 2/3 is one angle
then subtract the other one
90-4 and 2/3=85 and1/3
the angles are 4 and 2/3 and 85 and 1/3

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB
2x-10 and 3x-10
add
2x-10+3x-10=90
gropu liek terms
2x+3x-10-10=90
add likke terms
5x-20=90
add 20
5x=110
divide y 5
x=22
subsitute
2(22)-10
44-10
34
subtract
90-34=56
the angles are 34 and 56 degrees

I would go with 34 and 56 because you sometimes deal with whole numbers more in math

Since the two angles have a sum of 90 degrees, we can add the two expressions together and set it equal to 90.
2x-10+13x-10=90\\15x-20=90\\15x=110\\x=22/3\\2(22/3)-10=14/3\\90-14/3=256/3

Find the median of following data round to the nearest hundredth. <br> 12.5, 13.24, 7.89,22.45
NARA [144]
The "median" of a set is just the middle value for an odd number of ordered elements or the average of the middle two values for an even number of ordered elements.  In this case you are four elements so it would be the average of the second and third terms...

median=(12.5+13.24)/2

median=12.87  (exactly, no rounding needed)

Find the maximum value or minimum value for the function f(x) = 0.15(x + 1)² - 3.
il63 [147K]

Answer:

The minimum value for  f(x) = 0.15(x + 1)^2 - 3 is -3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given function is f(x) = 0.15(x + 1)^2 - 3

We need to find the maximum value or the minimum value for the function.

Now, differentiate f(x) = 0.15(x + 1)^2 - 3  w.r.t x.

f'(x) =\frac{d}{dx}(0.15(x + 1)^2 - 3)\\f'(x)=\frac{d}{dx}(0.15(x+1)^2-\frac{d}{dx}(3)\\

f'(x)=2\times 0.15(x+1)\frac{d}{dx}(x+1)-0\\f'(x)=0.3(x+1)(1)\\f'(x)=0.3(x+1)

Now, we will equate f'(x)=0 to find critical point.

0.3(x+1)=0\\x=-1

Plug this critical point in to the function f(x) = 0.15(x + 1)^2 - 3  we get,

f(-1) = 0.15(-1 + 1)^2 - 3\\f(-1)=-3

Also, f''(x)=0.3 which is positive, We have minimum value.

So, the minimum value for  f(x) = 0.15(x + 1)^2 - 3 is -3.
