To Find : The total hours spend by Marisol on reading .

Solution : Total hours spend on reading will be equal to the sum of time taken by him each day on reading .

So , total time of reading will be ;

= (23 + 38 + 42 + 17 + 29 + 10 + 11) min

= 170 min .

What is a rectangle?

It is a polygon with four sides. The total interior angle is 360 degrees. A rectangle's opposite sides are parallel and equal, and each angle is 90 degrees. Its diagonals are all the same length and intersect in the center.

The dimension of the poster is 10 cm by 20 cm.

And the scale factor will be 5 cm is equal to 1 ft.

Then the dimension of the poster will be 2 ft by 4 ft.

Then the amount of the paper that Lemon needs for the actual poster will be

Area = 2 × 4

Area = 8 ft²

two joggers run 8 miles north and then 5 miles west. what is the shortest distance they must travel to return to their starting
Simora [160]

Answer:

9.43 miles and for the diagram just draw a labelled right triangle with the base running towards the left. Hope this helps!

Step-by-step explanation:

I believe you would use the pythagorean theorem which is a^2+b^2=c^2

So if

8^2+5^2=c^2

64+25=89

\sqrt{89} = 9.43
