The answer is -8 and 8 and anything in between them. So 5 and -3.

First I subtracted 68 and made it into an equation. So x^2-64=0 then you factor it into (x+8)(x-8)=0

then put -8 and 8 on a number line with closed dots above them (because it's greater than or EQUAL to, so -8 and 8 are already answers.) then take a number that's greater then -8 (I used -9) and sub it into the original equation. You'll get 81 which doesn't work because 81 isn't greater than or equal to 64. Then plug in 0 (it works) so any numbers in between -8 and 8 are in the solution. Lastly plug in 9 and it doesn't work. So your solution is -8, 8, and every number in between.

Hey that's really easy :)

We gonna do it together.

x² ≤ 64

We need to find the critical points of the inequality

x² = 64

Now take the square root of  64

x = +/- √64

x= 8 or x=-8

D and F are the correct choices :)

I hope that's help:)

-6 + </span>{14 + 2[60 − 9(4)]}
-6 + {14 + 2[60 − 36]}
-6 + {14 + 2[24]}
-6 + {14 + 48}
-6 + {62}

Hayley has $155 in savings, and her brother Hank has $230. Hayley is saving $10 each week, and her brother is spending $15 each
Sindrei [870]

Answer:

After 3 weeks they both will have the same amount in their savings account.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Amount saved by Haley = $155

Amount saved by Hank = $230

Amount saving each week by Haley = $10

Amount spending each week by Hank = $15

We need to find Number of weeks when both both will have same amount in savings account.

Solution:

Let Number of week be 'x'.

Total Amount of Haley can be calculated by Amount saved by Haley plus Amount saving each week by Haley multiplied by number of weeks.

framing in equation form we get;

Total Amount of Haley = 155+10x

Also;

Total Amount of Hank can be calculated by Amount saved by Hank minus Amount spending each week by Hank multiplied by number of weeks.

framing in equation form we get;

Total Amount of Hank = 230-15x

Now we need to find the number of weeks when both will have same amount.

To find the same we will have to make both the equation equal.

So we can say.

155+10x=230-15x

On Solving above equation we get;

We will combine the like terms together;

10x+15x =230-155\\\\25x = 75

Now Dividing both side by 25 using Division property of equality we get;

\frac{25x}{25} = \frac{75}{25}\\\\x=3 \ weeks

Hence, After 3 weeks they both will have the same amount in their savings account.

Center of rhombus bisects 90°.

Sum of angles in triangle = 180°
x + x + 14 + 90 = 180
2x + 104 = 180
2 (x + 52) = 180
x = (180 ÷ 2) - 52
x = 90 - 52
x = 38°

A jewelry store purchases necklaces for n dollars each. The necklaces are then marked up by 20%, and costumers are charged 5% sa
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost price = $n

Mark up price = selling price- cost price

= (20% × $n)

Selling price = $n + (20% × $n)

Sales tax = 5% × ($n + (20% × $n))

Total cost = selling price + sales tax

Total cost = $n + (20% × $n) + 5% × $n + (20% × $n)

= 1.2 × $n + 0.06 × $n

= 1.26 × $n.
