Answer:

Wind Energy Engineer

Explanation:

Wind Energy engineers are responsible for developing wind farms which utilize wind energy in order to generate electricity.

Such a designation may require different task performances such as relating to creation of design plans for developing a wind farm, deciding the location of wind farm with respect to the direction and flow of wind, deciding upon the kind and features of the turbines that will be used at the wind farms, etc.

The job is technical in nature. Also usually such engineers get paid around $ 100,000 on an average, with required educational qualification being a bachelors degree atleast and since the engineer works in developing and design of plans, there is little or negligible interaction with the clients.

Thus, the career meets all of the requirements specified by Spencer.

2. The identification of the advantages and disadvantages of each sale type is as follows:

a. Cash Sale ensures that Tundra collects cash immediately without facing credit risks from customers. Tundra has the cash available for operations without resorting to borrowing. Customers may be discouraged from making purchases if sales are restricted to cash. Tundra may be forced to offer cash discounts, which are substantial when the interest rates are annualized.

b. Credit Sale enables Tundra customers to buy more because of the credit period given. Credit Sale attracts more customers than Cash Sale. However, there is the risk of default. Some customers may become bankrupt during the credit period. Credit Sale extension to all customers increases the risk of financial fraud by some entities.

c. Credit Card Sale is like a cash sale except that Tundra will pay some expense to the Card issuers on whose platform the sale transaction is conducted.

d. Debit Card Sale is also like Credit Card Sale except that it is offered by financial institutions and not credit card issuers.

e. By accepting all these types of sales, Tundra increases its ability to make sales to various customers since some customers prefer to make transactions through these various types of sales.

Data Analysis:

January 15: Cash $42,000 Sales Revenue $42,000

Cost of goods sold $28,500 Inventory $28,500

January 17: Accounts Receivable $15,800 Sales Revenue $15,800

The minimum expected rate of return of the management from any project is referred to as the:A)The hurdle rate. B)The internal r
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is the profitability or the ability to generate revenues of the money that remains invested during the life of a proyect. It is also known as the discount rate or cost rate that makes the Net Present Value (NPV) equal to cero. When the NPV is greater than cero, then the proyect creates value ( it is attractive to investors) if it is less than cero, then the proyect destroys value and investors are going to loose money. If the NPV is equal to cero, then investors recover their investment but they do not obtain gains nor losses. The minimum rate of return is the one in which at least investors obtain the same amount ( in present value) of their investment; that is the internal rate of return (IRR).

Wolf Den Craft Beers projects that it will need $50 million in total assets to meet the sales projection of $65 million. The p
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer:

$5 million

Explanation:

As we know the asset is financed from two capital sources equity and liability.

Using Accounting equations as follow

Assets = Equity + Liabilities

Total Assets Value = Equity Value + ( Account Payable + Accrued expenses + Long-Term Debt )

As we both sides are not equal, asset are more that the sum of equity and liabilities so we need more borrowing to finance the assets.

$50 million = $25 millions + ( $8 million + $2 million + $10 million ) + Additional Borrowing

$50 million = $25 millions + $20 million + Additional Borrowing

$50 million = $45 millions + Additional Borrowing

Additional Borrowing = $50 million - $45 millions

Additional Borrowing = $5 million

Margaret Lindley paid $15,160 of interest on her $301,600 acquisition debt for her home (fair market value of $501,600), $4,160
irinina [24]

Answer:

Margaret Lindley

Margaret Lindley can deduct $12,320 of the interest expense this year.

Explanation:

a) Data and Calculations:

Interest on $301,600 acquisition debt for her home = $15,160

Fair market value of home = $501,600

Interest on her $30,160 home-equity debt = $4,160

Credit card interest = $1,160

Margin interest expense = $3,160

Interest income received = $10,160

Deductible interest expense:

Interest on debt for her home = $15,160

Interest on home-equity debt = $4,160

Margin interest expense = $3,160

Interest income received = ($10,160)

Deductible interest expense = $12,320

b) Margaret cannot deduct her credit card interest because it is considered as a type of personal consumer finance interest. This type of interest expense is not tax-deductible.
