If cosα = sinβ  and 0° ≤ β ≤ 90°, usually it means is a right-triangle, so there's another angle that is not α or β that is 90°, and in which case angles α and β are "complementary angles", namely α + β = 90°, like in the example in the picture below.

what the dickens does all that mean?  well, it means that if <span> α = 26.4°, then

</span>α + β = 90°

26.4° + β = 90°

β = 90° - 26.4°.

57°
noname [10]

Answer:

c = 29

Step-by-step explanation:

Law of sines is given as: \frac{a}{sin(A)} = \frac{b}{sin(B)} = \frac{c}{sin(C)}

B = 180 - (57 + 44) = 79°

b = 41

C = 44°

c = ?

Thus:

\frac{b}{sin(B)} = \frac{c}{sin(C)}

Substitute

\frac{41}{sin(79)} = \frac{c}{sin(44)}

Multiply both sides by sin 44

\frac{41}{sin(79)}*sin(44) = \frac{c}{sin(44)}*sin(44)

\frac{41*sin(44)}{sin(79)}*sin(44) = c

c = 29.0140633 ≈ 29
