The best answer is; False

The mark and recapture method of determining population size is not always more effective than the sampling method.

The mark and recapture method works by trapping and marking the animals in groups. The method relies on ratios of marked to unmarked organisms. The numbers of the animals that are marked and the unmarked are recorded and used to estimate the population size. This method is not very effective but it is most when useful when the entire organism in a population cannot be counted practically.

The sampling method determines the population size of organisms by sampling them using quantitative techniques such as quadrats (for immobile organisms such as plants) and pitfall traps (for animals). The sampling method is considered to be more effective than the mark and recapture method.

The extinction vortex represents the idea that even if an organism is extant, it may have a gene pool that will not support its
NISA [10]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

Extinction vortex is a model used by scientists to understand extinction dynamics within a community. This model allows scientists to assess and understand how a population can become highly vulnerable to elements of its habitat, becoming increasingly apt for extinction. According to this model, any organism is capable of extinction, as all are susceptible to having a gene pool that will not allow its survival, regardless of the environment.

Explain how mutations cause cancer cells.
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

Cancer is unchecked cell growth. Mutations in genes can cause cancer by accelerating cell division rates or inhibiting normal controls on the system, such as cell cycle arrest or programmed cell death. As a mass of cancerous cells grows, it can develop into a tumor.

Is soil living or nonliving explain why or why not?
pogonyaev
Soil is non-living because it does not need the basic units of life. Soil does not necessarily need water to survive, soil does not need food, soil does not need shelter, soil doesn’t even need air.

Please answer my question:((
snow_tiger [21]
Often, the offspring inherit most of the parental variations. For instance, my mother's side has great resistance to cancer. (Many people have had it, but no cases lasted longer than a few months.) My father's side succumbs to heart disease.

I can somewhat expect I might have one in the future.
