Answer:

Option: 3.) The North was more industrial, had more immigrants, and had more cities than the south.

Explanation:

The North since the colonial period flourished because of the trading centers. The North had its markets and gradually developed shipbuilding industries and others. After independence from the British, the North began to establish industries and factories, which led to the immigration of people from Europe. As for the South, it based on the agriculture economy with the help of slavery. The south did not have cities compared to the North, which included cities like New York.

Which of these historians was one of the first to emphasize documented facts over unverifiable stories
Zanzabum
A lot of historians have had an important role in the history of... historiography. We usually associate the birth of history with the work of Herodotus in the 5th century BC. He devoted his time to document stories about the old days and habits of the various people he visited. Other historians like Thucydides during the Peloponnesian war took a more scientific approach. Instead of documenting tales and anything of interest, he only documented facts that he could verify himself; some other parts he specifically mentioned that he could not verify them. In a sense he can be called the father of the science of history since until then verification of historical work was not being emphasized. Other historians, like Xenophon  and Tacitus followed in his footsteps.

Why does Clay think that accepting Texas as a state would end up “strengthening one part
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

Clay believed that if Texas is be received into the Union as an integral part of it  then it will destabilize the union and instead of acquiring Texas, it is better to compose and harmonize the present union rather than introducing as new component that would further add to the existing element of discord and distraction. He said that acquisition of foreign land is not right if it is done for strengthening one part against another part of the common confederacy and this can lead to dissolution of the Union
