Is 9 prime, composite, or neither? prime composite neither

Mathematics

3 0
A prime number has only itself and 1 as factors
A composite number can be divided evenly by a number that is not itself or 1
Neither would be 1 and negative numbers, as 1 only has one factor (itself) and the terms prime and composite do not include negative numbers.
9 is perfectly divisible by 3 so it is composite.

Answer:

-1/60

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{11}{15}  + (- \frac{3}{4} )\\

= \frac{11}{15}  -  \frac{3}{4}\\

= \frac{44}{60}  -  \frac{45}{60}\\  (find LCM of demoninators)

= \frac{44-45}{60}\\

= \frac{-1}{60}\\

= -1/60

in 4.5 hours, 11.25 inches of snow fell suppose the same amount of snow fell each hour how much snow fell each hour
Julli [10]
If 11.25 inches snow fell in 4.5hrs,
Then for each hr how much snow fell?

So,
4.5 : 11.25
To find how many inches that fell per hour who would need to divide the number of inches by the numbers of hours

11.25 divided by 4.5 = 2.5

So the answer would be 2.5 inch was of snow per hour

Radar tracking station O is 40 km away from a ship at Point A. The ship travels east 45 km to point C at 30 km/h. How long will
RUDIKE [14]
First, let's find the time where the ship arrives to point C
t=d/V, t= 45/30=1.5h
if the ship's departure time is at 1.5h, on the point C, let 's find its arrival to the point O, V=D/Dt,  Dt=tfinal-tinitial
Dt=D/V= 20/30=0.6h=t final -t initial, implies t final=0.6+t initial=0.6+1.5=2.1h

so the ship will be on the radar at 2.1h,
