Answer:

We can construct the given segment by using the following steps:

Step 1:  Adjust the compass width equal to the length of the segment AB.

Step 2: Draw another line that is greater than the twice of the segment AB in length.

Step 3 : Without changing the compass settings, draw an arc from end of the line on the line (this is equal to length AB)

Step 4 : Now again put the compass tip on the intersection of the arc drawn above, and make another arc on the line (this is also equal to length AB from the arc)

Now, we get a double line segment from the end of the line.

Its like AB + AB = 2AB.

You can see the attached figure to get a clear view of construction.

MaRussiya [10]
No, it is not a function....for it to be a function, it cant have any repeating x values...they all have to be different....they can have repeating y values, just not the x ones.....also, it does not pass the vertical line test

Answer:

Your answers are correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

The equality will be true for odd multiples of π/4, so the last two choices will not show the expression to be <em>not</em> an identity.

1.) 10² + 4 · (6 + 3) - (27 ÷ 9) - 6 = 127
For these types of questions, try to think of it like, well since the last number is negative 6, let me try to get everything before it to equal 133 so it will end up being 127. :)

2.) ( \frac{3}{5} - \frac{1}{2} ) ÷ \frac{1}{2} + 1.6·(0.3 + 0.42)
= 1/10 ÷ 1/2 + 1.6 · (0.72)
= 1/5 + 1.152
= 1.352
Remember that dividing a fraction by a fraction is like multiplying the coefficient of the second one to the original one.

3.) 15 · 1/2 ÷ 3/4
Remember that product is multiplication and quotient is division.

4.) \frac{(54 \frac{3}{10} - 11 \frac{7}{10}) }{3}
Remember that difference is subtraction and separating into three parts is like dividing it into three parts.

Hope this helped and ask me for further explanation! ^-^
