Area of a circle = pi * r^2

Radius (r) = ½ * diameter

½ * 10 = 5

A= pi * 5^2

25 * pi = 78.54 sq inches

10.99 / 78.54 = about 14 cents per sq in (13.99)

A2. Find y' and y" for y^2 = x^2<br>+ sinxy
kumpel [21]

Answer:

y'   = (2x + y cosxy)/(2y + x cosxy)

Step-by-step explanation:

Using implicit differentiation:

y^2 = x^2 + sin xy

2y y' = 2x + cos xy  * (xy' + y)

2y y' = 2x + xy' cos xy + y cos xy

2y y' - xy' cosxy = 2x + ycos xy

y'   = (2x + y cosxy)/(2y - x cosxy)

A frustum is formed when a plane parallel to a cone’s base cuts off the upper portion as shown. Which expression represents the
Bezzdna [24]
Think of the two pieces together as a single cone of height 19, and its volume.
Then think of only the upper piece as a cone, and find its volume.
The volume of the frustum is the total volume minus the volume of the upper piece.

The volume of a cone is:

V = \dfrac{1}{3} \pi r^2 h

Total volume:

V_t = \dfrac{1}{3} \times \pi \times 7.5^2 \times 19

Volume of upper cone:

V_u = \dfrac{1}{3} \times \pi \times 3.5^2 \times 8

Volume of frustum:

V_f = \dfrac{1}{3}\pi(7.5^2)(19) - \dfrac{1}{3}\pi(3.5^2)(8)

Ravi will take the 6:37 PM train to San Diego. The train is estimated to arrive in San Diego in 3 hours 45 minutes. What is the
Ahat [919]
So 6+3 is 9 right? So let's just say it's 9:37 with a 45 min ride. 60 minutes are in a hour. 60 - 37 = 23. We have 23 minutes left until 10:00. 45- 23 = 22. Therefore it'd be 10:22 p.m.
