Answer:

54.314 °

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that in triangle ABC, AB = AC = 6m. So, it is an isosceles triangle

Now, it is also given that BC = 7 cm.

We have to find the value of angle C.

If we draw a perpendicular on BC from point A, then it will bisect BC at D i.e. AD is a perpendicular bisector of BC.

Now, the triangle ADC is a right triangle in which, the base DC =7/2 =3.5 cm and hypotenuse AC = 6m (Given) and angle ADC= 90°.

Therefore, Cos∠C = DC/AC =3.5/6.

⇒ ∠C =Cos⁻¹ (3.5/6) =54.314 ° (Answer)

Schoolyard has an area of 3,564ft.² the section that is in the shape of a triangle is just for picnic table and what is the area
asambeis [7]

Answer:

The area of the section for the picnic tables is 1,188\ ft^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The area of the schoolyard is equal to the area of a rectangle plus the area of a triangle

so

3,564=44*(2x-x)+\frac{1}{2}(2x-x)*44\\ \\3,564=44x+22x\\\\3,564= 66x\\ \\x=54\ ft

The area of the triangle is equal to

22x=22*54=1,188\ ft^{2}

Maddie plots point A (1,3). She then translates
hichkok12 [17]

Coordinates of the final image is (-3,6)

Point A is (1,3)

Now applying rule(x-2,y-1)

  (1-2,3-1)=(-1,2)

So, after applying rule We get (-1,2)

Dilates the image  centered at the origin with a scale factor of 3 means that multiply coordinate point by 3.

So, after multiplying (-1,2) by 3 . We get final image is (-3,6)

Can someone help me
kolbaska11 [484]

m < 1 = 130°

m < 1 = 130°m < 2 = 50°

We know this is a linear pair, therefore the two angles must add up to 180°

(m < 1 )+ (m < 2 )= 180

5x + x + 24 = 180

Combine like terms

6x + 24 = 180

Isolate the variable

6x = 156

x = 26

Plug in 26 for x in both of the individual angle equations.

m < 1 = 5x

= 5(26)

= 130

m < 2 = x - 24

= (26) + 24

= 50

A good way to check if we did this correctly, is to add up the two angles. Because 180 + 50 = 180, we did this correctly.

I hope this helped. Let me know if you have any questions!
