is it bad luck to kill a cricket? because i'm trying to do my work and one is hopping around my room. I don't know who it got in

Native Americans believed crickets brought good luck to them. Therefore, they believed that killing a cricket was very bad luck... even if it was on accidents.

But who knows? Right? It's just a superstition.
