Peer pressure can make people think that because their friends are doing something that it's the cool thing to do. Family members make it seem like it's ok to do even when it isn't. Media can influence teens because everyone online says they do that kinda thing because they want to fit in. Perceptions are just that you think something is right because you see a lot of people doing it. Misleading information has to do with it because many tv shows show that it isn't bad because you aren't doing it very much.
In the situation, when Chuck thinks that attractive women will not be a good educator his attitude toward attractive women is stereotype that once a woman is beautiful she is not smart as maybe all she thinks is just her looks.
