- 5(p + 3) = 9(- 7 + p)
4p - 78
Answer = 2(2p - 39)



To Simplify: Step by Step
- (5p + 3 ) + 9(- 7 + p)

Distribute: 
= (- 5)(p) + (- 5 )(3) + (9)(- 7) + (9)(p)
= -5p +  - 15 +  - 63 + 9p


combine like terms:
= - 5p +  - 15 + - 63 + 9p
= ( - 5p + 9p) + ( - 15 + - 63)

= 4p + - 78

Answer = 4p + - 78
