The correct answer is C more willing to use government intervention to solve economic problems.

Indeed, due to capitalistic ideological reasons Herbert Hoover privileged a laissez-faire economic approach of government which meant no or very little government intervention to solve economic problems. Therefore, he only accepted to provide economic relief to large banks and other financial institutions but not to rural, or smaller banks or to businesses and much less to the citizens.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the other hand, considered that such ideology was not only morally questionable but economically unsound and made sure, in accordance to progressive ideals that the federal government use its taxes to boost economic activity and provide relief to people that would contribute to national productivity and thus wealth.

The answer is C. more willing to use government intervention.

Herbert Hoover was a strong believer of self-sufficiency and his ideals were based on the laissez faire system, which is an economic system free from government intervention. On the contrary, when Franklin D. Roosevelt took office recognized that in order to support the country, the role of the government had to increase.

Jlenok [28]

Answer:

As in Christian Europe, Muslims believed that God's will caused the plague. But Muslim religious scholars taught that the plague was a “martyrdom and mercy” from God, assuring the believer's place in paradise. For non-believers, it was a punishment.

Throughout the Cuban Missile Crisis, John F. Kennedy's advisers helped him through the decision making process. Then describe th
Vitek1552 [10]

President John F. Kennedy contained the Cuban Missile Crisis in a largely collaborative effort with his advisers. At the center of his support, we've always found the figure of Robert Kennedy. The views on where Robert standed during the unfolding of the crisis tend to be mixed up.

In the beginning it was the secretary of defence Robert McNamara who argued in favor of a blockade to Cuba instead of a military strike. We can also attribute to him the persuassion over his ExComm colleagues who were trying to push military action.

Several other U.S. officials such as national security adviser McGeorge Bundy and Theodore Sorensen, recongnized the great dangers that using force could cause America by precipitating the risk of Soviet retaliation.

Robert Kennedy was certainly the most influential adviser for JFK, but he wasn't by any means an early supporter of the course of action that ended up resolving the crisis in a more diplomatic way, as the President was able to stand up against the pressure and go for a successful blockade.

Hope this helps!
