<em><u>The  algebraic expression can be used to find the nth term of the sequence  is:</u></em>

<em><u></u></em>a_n = 5+3n

Where, n\geq 1 and n is a positive whole number

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

<em><u>Given sequence is:</u></em>

8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23

Let us find the common difference between terms

11 - 8 = 3

14 - 11 = 3

17 - 14 = 3

20 - 17 = 3

23 - 20 = 3

Thus the common difference between successive term and previous term is constant

Thus this is a arithmetic sequence

<em><u>The formula for nth term term of arithmetic sequence is given as:</u></em>

a_n = a_1+(n-1)d

Where,

a_n is the nth term of sequence

a_1 is the first term of sequence

d is the common difference between terms

Here in this sequence, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23

a_1 = 8\\\\d = 3

Therefore,

a_n = 8+(n-1)3\\\\a_n = 8+3n -3\\\\a_n = 5+3n

Where, n\geq 1 and n is a positive whole number

Thus algebraic expression can be used to find the nth term of the sequence is found

You want to estimate the population proportion of pine trees over 90 years old in a forest near where you live. You need a margi
iragen [17]

Answer:

b

Step-by-step explanation:

Minimum sample size for estimating  the population proportion of pine trees over 90 years old in a forest near where you live with <em>margin of error</em> no more than 2% can be calculated using the equation:

n≥ p×(1-p) × (\frac{z}{ME} )^2 where

  • n is the sample size
  • p is the proportion of pine trees over 90 years old in a forest near where you live
  • z is the corresponding z-score for the confidence level
  • ME is the margin of error in the estimation (2% or 0.02)

Log5 (x squared - 9) = 0
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

x=3,\:x=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the equation

\log _{10}\left(5\right)\left(x^2-9\right)=0

Divide both sides by \log _{10}\left(5\right)

\frac{\log _{10}\left(5\right)\left(x^2-9\right)}{\log _{10}\left(5\right)}=\frac{0}{\log _{10}\left(5\right)}

Simplify

x^2-9=0

Add 9 to both sides

x^2-9+9=0+9

Simplifying

x^2=9

\mathrm{For\:}x^2=f\left(a\right)\mathrm{\:the\:solutions\:are\:}x=\sqrt{f\left(a\right)},\:\:-\sqrt{f\left(a\right)}

x=\sqrt{9},\:x=-\sqrt{9}

as

\sqrt{9}\:=3

-\sqrt{9}=-3

Therefore,

x=3,\:x=-3

The order of the size of angles is related to the order of the length that is opposite to that angle.

angle A is across from the smallest side, 2.4.
angle C is across from the middle side, 3.2
angle B is across from the longest side, 5.5

if you think about it, angle B has to be widest angle for it to accommodate the longest length (longer it is, the more you have to open). anlge A has to be the smallest angle for it to correspond with the smallest length

The order of smallest to largest is ∠A, ∠C, ∠B
