How can depression affect your social health?

Health

Answer:

Well,

Explanation:

Depression can affect ones health in many ways, including social health. Depression can create social anxiety or the fear of talking to people because you think you're gonna do or say something that may make you look weird or out of place.

Depression also lowers your self-confidence, so you won't look as confident in yourself while in a conversation which may make you vulnerable to bullying, or just really sensitive about the things people say about you, even if it's not a big deal.

If you, a friend, or a family member is suffering with depression, please don't hesitate and tell someone, talking about it may help relieve the pain.

Answer:

Depression can affect your social health in many ways.

Explanation:

I live with depression and anxiety. I will say that it makes socializing harder because you tend to be more negative or pessimistic. Usually people do not like to talk with people who are always looking at the dark side of things. This contributes to wanting to avoid social situations and not being socially adequate. I have ruined many conversations by not having good social skills. This makes for an awkward scenario and will further the urge of not taking part in any social activities.
