\sf Hello!

\sf Since,

(\dfrac{\sf a}{\sf b})^{\sf n} = \dfrac{\sf a^{n}}{\sf b^{n}}

\sf Then,

(\dfrac{\sf 3}{\sf 8})^{\sf 3} = \dfrac{\sf 3^{3}}{\sf 8^{3}} = \dfrac{\sf 27}{\sf 512}

If is \dfrac{3^3}{8} then your answer is

\dfrac{3\cdot3\cdot3}{8}=\dfrac{27}{8}

If is \left(\dfrac{3}{8}\right)^3 then your answer is

\dfrac{3}{8}\cdot\dfrac{3}{8}\cdot\dfrac{3}{8}=\dfrac{27}{512}

Other method.

Use \left(\dfrac{a}{b}\right)^n=\dfrac{a^n}{b^n}

\left(\dfrac{3}{8}\right)^3=\dfrac{3^3}{8^3}=\dfrac{27}{512}

Jaclyn estimates the square root of 32 in the following way:
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

incorrect, correct answer is 4√2

Step-by-step explanation:

When you remove the square root You will have to remove them completely. so that the inside of the square root cannot be removed any more numbers (I'm not good at English but I hope u understand what I want u to know :)))

√32 = √2×2×2×2×2

Match 2 identical numbers one at a time and bring them out. ;

√32 = 2×2√2

√32 = 4√2 correct answer!

find you If you want to check if your square root removal is correct or not. Multiply the answer you have given by itself, for example:

4√2 × 4√2 = 16×√4 = 16×2 = 32 correct!

hope it helps you <3

Water is not a liquid if its temperature is above 100 °C or below 0 °C.
amm1812

Answer:

0 \leq  x \leq  100

0, 40, and 80 are the values that work for this compound inequality.

Step-by-step explanation:

To create a compound inequality, we have to examine the conditions for x to work.

Since x can not be below 0° C, that means that x must be greater than or equal to 0.

Which is represented as x\geq 0, or 0\leq x.

Since x can not be above 100° C, that means x must be less than 100.

Which is represented as x \leq  100.

We can combine both inequalities into one, where x is shared between the two. This creates 0\leq x \leq 100.

Let's test each value of x .

0 is <em>equal to</em> 0 and less than 100, so it works.

40 is <em>greater  </em>than 0 and less than 100, so it works.

80 is <em>greater  </em>than 0 and less than 100, so it works.

120 is <em>greater  </em>than 0 and <em>greater</em> than 100, so it doesn't work.

160 is <em>greater  </em>than 0 and <em>greater</em> than 100, so it doesn't work.

Hope this helped!
