What does transcendentalism mean. in SIMPLE TERMS not dictionary definition!!! HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!? please help i need to write

First of all, transcendentalism is a philosophical and literary movement, which means that it was a common idea that many people had and applied.

This idea what that the nature of people is to be good and that people, when left to themselves, would be good. Only the influence of the society made the people not fullfil their goodness.
