Answer:

D. It has snowed every day this week, so it will likely snow tomorrow.

Explanation:

In logic, inductive reasoning is how we call the kind of reasoning in which after considering a sufficient number of particular cases, concludes a general truth.

Note that this form of reasoning is not necessarily correct and in fact, many times it might not be. Even if it snows during 364 days of a year, it doesn't mean that it will also snow on the next one.

ANSWER:

The correct example of inductive reasoning is it has snowed every day this week, so it will likely snow tomorrow. Furthermore, inductive reasoning is about a wide generalization from specific observations.

EXPLANATION:

Inductive reasoning is a contradiction of deductive reasoning. Principally, there is data, after that, conclusions are gained from this data. Based on Utah State University, it is called inductive logic.

Based on Wassertheil-Smoller, people move from the specific to the general in inductive inference. People produce a lot of observations, get patterns, produce a generalization, and assume explanations or theories. In science, there is a continuous interaction between inductive inference (according to observations) and deductive inference (according to theory), until they get closer and more to 'truth', that people can only control but cannot ensure with complete sureness.

An example of inductive logic is, "The coin Lucy pulled from the bag is a penny, that coin is a penny. Then, a third coin from the bag is a penny. Thus, all the coins in the bag are pennies." Even though all foundations are true in a statement, inductive reasoning enables the conclusion to be false. For instance: "John is a grandfather. John has grey hair. Thus, all grandfathers have grey hair." The conclusion does not have to follow reasonably from the statement.

Inductive reasoning has attention in the scientific method. Scientists utilize it to create hypotheses and theories. Deductive reasoning permits them to implement the theory in specific situations.
