Answer:

Don Quixote (Don Quijote in Spanish)  is a noble man with modest resources who loved and devoured chivalresque novels  (novels on knights and their deeds). One day, this extravagant man from La Mancha takes his spear, his shield, his horse Rocinante and his squire Sancho Panza and goes into the world to look for adventures, help the poor and needed and correct injustices. He wants to live the a knight´s life. He thinks he is one and was even the admirer, just like true knights, of a lady , Dulcinea. Don Quixote embodies human idealism and nobility, the aspiration for justice and good.
