Answer:

In mathematics, factorization or factoring is the breaking apart of a polynomial into a product of other smaller polynomials. If you choose, you could then multiply these factors together, and you should get the original polynomial (this is a great way to check yourself on your factoring skills). One set of factors, for example, of 24 is 6 and 4 because 6 times 4 = 24. When you have a polynomial, one way of solving it is to factor it into the product of two binomials.

You have multiple factoring options to choose from when solving polynomial equations:

For a polynomial, no matter how many terms it has, always check for a greatest common factor (GCF) first. Literally, the greatest common factor is the biggest expression that will go into all of the terms. Using the GCF is like doing the distributive property backward.

In a survey, 2 out of 8 students named math as their favorite subject. Express the rate as a decimal and as a percent.
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer: 0.25 and 25%

Step-by-step explanation:

2/8 is equal to 1/4. 1/4 is the same as 0.25. Move decimal point two spots to the right and BOOM you get 25%.

What is the growth factor associated with the following growth rate: 30% decrease
fenix001 [56]

Given:

Growth rate = 30% decrease

To find:

The growth factor associated with the given growth rate.

Solution:

The general exponential function is:

y=a(1+r)^x

y=a(b)^x

Where, a is the initial value, r is the growth rate in decimal and b=1+r is the growth factor.

It is given that the growth rate is 30% decrease. So,

r=-30\%

r=-\dfrac{30}{100}

r=-0.3

Now,

b=1+r

b=1+(-0.3)

b=1-0.3

b=0.7

Therefore, the growth factor is 0.7.

when u are doing a rotation and it’s a 90 degrees. Do you have to flip the coordinates and change the signs?
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
Hello!

When doing a 90 degree reparation you flip the coordinates and apply to the sign of the quadrant.

For example, If it flips into quadrant one, they will both be positive.

So, in this case it would be Triangle 4.

Hope this helped!

I really need this ASAP! what is 14 2/7 as a fraction
nlexa [21]
Multiply 14 by the denominator of the fraction.

14 • 7 = 98

Then add it to the numerator.

98 + 2 = 100

Your answer is 100/7
