PROJECT: RESEARCH AND LEARN: COMMODITIES AND EXCHANGES Project Overview Agricultural commodities are bought and sold through the

stock exchange. The price of commodities changes all the time. Investors buy many agricultural commodities before they are ready for shipping. When an investor buys an agricultural commodity that is going to be ready in the future, they call this purchasing futures. This might be a future crop, meat that has not yet been processed, or another type of agricultural commodity. For this project, you will have to decide how to spend $10,000. Research the New York Stock Exchange. Find one or more agricultural commodities that you are interested in. Remember, it may be listed as a future crop. Instructions Identify the agricultural commodities that you think have the best chance of going up in price. Think about what is going on with supply and demand. Decide how you will spend your money. You may purchase only agricultural commodities. Check the market every day for a week. Record the price of your commodity or commodities each day. You may buy or sell your commodities at any time during the week. You may sell your commodities and buy different ones. Feel free to experiment with the $10,000 by buying and selling commodities, but make sure to keep a careful record of your activities. At the end of the week, you will write a report on your investments. This report should be structured to include this information: Page 1: Explain how the stock market works. Page 2: List all commodities purchased. Describe each in detail. Discuss why you selected these commodities. Remember, they must be agricultural. Page 3: Create a chart or graph to illustrate the price of your commodity or commodities over the week’s time. List all of your activity buying and selling. Make sure you include prices and details. Page 4: Write a summary of your experience. Describe what you might do differently if you were using actual money. Propose potential reasons why the price of each commodity may go up or down.

Pepsi [2]

Answer:

The correct option is: a deficiency of dopamine in the substantia nigra.

Explanation:

The substantia nigra is the principal site involved in the physiopathology of Parkinson´s disease.

Cells from this area degenerate and die progressively causing important degeneration in the central nervous system. The cells that die -with no known reason- are those that produce dopamine and proportionate dopaminergic innervation to the encephalon. In fact, almost all the symptoms exhibited by patients with the disease can be explained by the lack of dopamine in the substantia nigra.

This area uses the neurotransmitter to communicate neurons from the base ganglia. Ganglia are responsible of modulating and modifying movements.

The nigrostriatal system participates in planning and automatic execution of learned movements. When the ganglia activity decreases, so it does the amount and velocity of movements, something typical of the disease.

Cells starting mitosis and meiosis begin with what set of chromosomes. True or False
Arisa [49]

Answer:

with haploid or diploid set of chromosomes. True

Explanation:

There are two types of cells in the body, haploid cells and diploid cells. The biggest difference is related to the number of chromosomes that each cell contains, while diploid cells contain two chromosomes (2n), haploid cells contain a chromosome (1n).

Features:

1. A haploid cell has only one set of chromosomes (n), while diploid cells have two sets of chromosomes (2n).

2. In humans, somatic cells are diploid, while gametes are haploid.

3. Diploid cells develop as a result of mitotic cell division, while haploid cells develop as a result of meiotic cell division.

4. Mitosis produces 2 identical daughter cells, where both stem and daughter cells are diploid. In meiosis, a diploid cell divides twice to produce 4 haploid daughter cells.

5. Humans and most animals are considered diploid organisms, while algae and fungi are examples of organisms that are haploid in most of their lives. Male bees, wasps and ants are also haploid.
