1) \frac{1}{8} + \frac{1}{8} = \frac{2}{8} = \frac{1}{4} - he spends in the recovery and on records

2) 7 \frac{1}{2} * \frac{1}{4} = \frac{15}{2} * \frac{1}{4} = \frac{15}{8} = 1 \frac{7}{8} h - answer.
