This is a simple one.

We dont know how fast it is going downstream, but we do know it took 3 hours to reach the destination. Now, saying that, when coming back we know it took 4 hours(an hour longer than what we took to get there), and we also know we were moving 5 miles slower per hour. If we think a bit, we can see that moving 5 miles slower made us take a whole hour. Making me believe that when we were headed to our destination we were moving at 20 miles per hour, and when we were headed back, we moved at 15mph(20-5)

To check that this was correct, we can just simply check, "okay so from our point to our destination we traveled 60 miles in total. if we went 20 miles an hour, in 3 hours(3×20) we would be at our destination, and if we traveled at 15 miles an hour, it would take us 4 hours to get back to our starting point (4×15)

HOPE THIS HELPED. Your answer would be the last option, D.

This is because spinning the spinner does not affect which marble you pick, as these are mutually exclusive events. This means that if the spinner lands on red, you could choose a black or white marble, and if the spinner lands on green you could also choose a black or white marble.

The only sample space that represents this is D because it's the only one that includes both black and white options after spinning red and green.

I hope this helps!

How to do the problem
SpyIntel [72]
The top and sides of the cylinder have an area of pr^2+2prh, but the pr^2 of the top is also removed from the cube which has an area of 6s^2.

A=6s^2+2prh

A=6*36+2p4*1

A=216+8p in^2

A≈241.13 in^2 (to nearest one-hundredth)

Note that I did not include the area of the cylinder that touches the cube...
