Answer:

The relation between m and n is ,  m = n

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The average for n class  = 0.82 = 82%

The average for m class  = 0.78 = 78%

The average for ( m + n ) class  = 80%

So , \frac{x_1 +x_2+x_3+x_4+ ....... + x_n}{n} = 82%

And \frac{x_1 +x_2+x_3+x_4+ ....... + x_m}{m} = 78%

And , \frac{(x_1+x_2+x_3+x_4+ ......+x_n ) + (x_1+x_2+x_+x_4+.....+x_m)}{m+n} = 80%

So , 0.82×n + 0.78×m = 0.80× (m+n)

Or,  0.82×n - 0.80×n = 0.80×m -   0.78×m

Or,   0.02×n              =  0.02×m

Or,   \frac{m}{n} =  \frac{0.02}{0.02}

∴      \frac{m}{n} = 1

I.e     m  =  n

Hence The relation between m and n is ,  m = n      Answer

A stunt man wants to drive a car off a ramp at an angle of 35∘ from the ground. He already has a ramp with an angle of 15∘. He p
eduard

Answer:

The second ramp needs to have 25°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Required ramp angle for driving the car from the ground = 35°.

First ramp angle = 15°

Therefore, second ramp angle equals required ramp angle minus first ramp angle, which is = 35° - 15° = 20°

The 20° ramp angle will make the total ramp angle to be equal to 35°.

That is 15° + 20° = 35°

A teacher spends $354 on costumes and microphones for six cast members in a play. Each cast member receives a costume that costs
KATRIN_1 [288]

The teacher spend some amount on buying costumes and microphones for 6 cast members.

<u>GiveN</u><u>:</u>

  • Cost of each costume = $38
  • Cost of each microphone = $c
  • Total money spent = $354

Let's frame the equation. Total money is the total amount spent for 6 cast members.

Money spent on costumes = $38 × 6

Money spent on microphone = $c × 6

<u>Equation:</u>

6 \times 38 + 6 \times c = 354

Taking 6 as common,

6(38 + c) = 354

Dividing 6 from both sides,

\dfrac{6(38 + c)}{6}  =  \dfrac{354}{6}

38 + c = 59

Solving further,

38 + c - 38 = 59 - 38

c = 21

So, the cost of each microphone = <u>$21</u>

The teacher spent this much on each microphone.

Evaluate the expression: –(31 + 2) + 72 – (–5)2.
Rudiy27

Answer:

 14

Step-by-step explanation:

Order of operations rules require that we do any work inside parentheses first.  Thus,

–(31 + 2) + 72 – (–5)^2

becomes:

     -33    + 72 -  25, or

               14

Important:  Please use " ^ " to denote exponentiation; (-5)2 is incorrect, whereas (-5)^2 or (-5)² is correct.
