Eating regular meals establishes healthy eating habits, keeps you energized throughout the day, and can cause you to lose weight. regular eating habits establish healthy eating habits because it's always good to eat regularly. One of the biggest misconceptions to losing weight fast and in a healthy manner is by not eating, that is false. If you eat regular meals you can lose weight perfectly fine. The more calories you eat the more you lose, now i'm not saying eat a million and one candy bars, i'm saying if you eat food that is healthy can get you to lose weight. That also doesn't mean live off of carrots and strawberries for a week! You have to eat normally. So a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, pasta, rice or any kind of meat is the way to lose weight vs eating low calorie anything or a candy bar. Every type of food gives you energy! It all depends what it is too predict how much energy you'll receive or how long it will last. For instance, a candy bar will give you a lot of energy, fast but won't last as long as eating pasta or rice for energy. Eating regular meals does cause you to gain weight but thats a good thing, it gives you energy, muscle and can help you lose weight. Eating regular meals actually does the opposite of causing you to be hungry more often, it keeps you fuller for longer.

What is produced by the process of meiosis?
lara31 [8.8K]
Choice C is correct.

WHY: In meiosis, sex cells (eggs or sperm) are produced. This means that they must have half the number of chromosomes in each, and they must be each UNIQUE.
Thus, the other options (A,B,D) cannot be correct because the product of meiosis cannot be the exact copy of the parent cells, and so cannot have the same number of chromosomes either.

Match the following. 1. the basic building block of all forms of life resolving power 2. the idea of Schleiden and Schwann that
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

1. Cell

2. cell theory

3. Organismal theory

4. resolving power

Explanation:

The cell is the smallest known unit of all living organisms. They are called the building blocks of life. An organism can be unicellular (made up of one cell) or multi-cellular (made up of many cells).

2. Cell theory was formulated and developed by Schleiden, Schwann, and Virchow. They are considered as the basic principles of biology.

It states:

1. Living organisms are made up of cells.

2. Cells are the basic unit of life.

3. Cells are formed from pre-existing cells.

4. Energy flows inside the cell.

5. DNA is passed on from cell to cell.

6. All cells have the same basic chemical composition.

3. Organismal theory is the intended counter-argument of the cell theory. It was developed by Reichert, Strasberger, Sherrington, and Pavlov. It argues that the basic unit of life is the organism itself, suggesting that an organism came about from a cell that expanded.

4. Resolving power is the ability of an optical instrument like a microscope or a telescope to view objects that are close together as separate, abling the viewer to distinguish the two from each other.
