For a year, that would be like nothing. You would be in a pretty bad drought. But in a day, that would be a flash flood or a plain flood. Enough to flood your basement pretty badly.

They were not treated well at all.some of their houses were vandalized or burned.others were beaten or got tar and feathered(thats when people stripped others of their clothes,poured hot tar on them and covered them with chicken feathers.)after the war the loyalists were kicked out of the country and went off to to british canada.
