Oh god, large question. My eyes hurt... Mitosis is the formation of 2 identical daughter cells (cell division). Mitosis have 5 phrases: interphase, prometaphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase and cytokinesis. The chromosomes are duplicated during the cell life just before mitosis since mitosis states that it is the splitting of the cells so duplicating the chromosomes isn't actually mitosis but it is still important to mitosis. Anyway, in interphase, the nucleolus starts to disappear, the microtubule starts to form and the chromosomes start to condense. In pro metaphase, some of the microtubule connect to the centromere, the cell membrane fully disappear and the chromosomes finishes condensing. In metaphase, the chromosomes are pulled to the center of the cell via by the contraction of the spindles and 2 spindles are connected to each of the kinetochores. In anaphase, the chromatids are separated via by the spindles. In Telophase, the nuclear membrane reappears, the chromosomes un-condenses and the micro tubal breaks down. In Cytokinesis, the cell membrane in one cell breaks apart from the other cell forming 2 daughter cells or in plant cells, another cell wall is formed. (this process can differ fro each different organism)

Given that a virus divides every 3 hours, and that a cell lyses (explodes) after it reaches a viral load of 5,000,000 units, how
vladimir2022 [97]

The replication time for a virus starting at 1,500 units to lyse the cell is 5 hours.

How to calculate the Exponential growth/decay formula?

x ( t ) = x 0 × (1 + r ) t

 • x(t) is the value at time t.

 • x 0 is the initial value at time t = 0.

 • r is the growth rate when r/ 0 or decay rate when r < 0, in percentage.

 • t is the time in discrete intervals and selected time units.

Whit this information, we can conclude that the replication time for a virus starting at 1,500 units to lyse the cell is 5 hours.

What is the thin layer of endothelial tissue that lines the inner surface of the heart and the valves called
serious [3.7K]

Answer:

Endocardium

Explanation:

The endocardium makes the innermost lining of the wall of the heart. It is present over the thin layer of connective tissue. The function of the endocardium is to provide a smooth lining for the chambers of the heart. The valves present in the heart also have endocardium. The dense connective tissue of the heart valves is covered by endocardium.

The presence of the smooth endocardium made up of endothelium reduces the surface friction as blood passes through the heart. The endocardium of heart chambers is continuous with the endothelial lining of the large blood vessels that are attached to the heart.

The small intestine begins with the _____ and ends with the ___
weeeeeb [17]

The answer is it begins at the PYLORIC SPHINCTER and ends at the ILEOCECAL SPHINCTER. The pyloric sphincter is a group of smooth muscle at the joint between the pylorus of the stomach and the duodenum of the small intestine. It plays a vital role in digestion, where it acts as a valve to controls the flow of moderately digested food from the digestive to the small intestine. Ileocecal is a sphincter muscle valve that split up the small intestine and the large intestine.
