Answer:

This question requires a personal story. I will write one which you can take as an example and modify as you like.

Explanation:

When I was little I was full of energy, almost like a star being born, full of light.

Then I grew, and as I did that energy was wasted. Still, I have energy left to imagine what it will be like to have children in the future.

When I have them and they grow up, they will also form their own life and they will detach from me. That part of me will be detaching from my body, as happens with the <em>"planetary nebula"</em>.

But at least when I'm no longer here, I know that I will have enlightened everyone around me with the love and shine that always characterized me.

Paul Revere's Ride (excerpt)
babunello [35]

Answer:

Not completely sure so do your research but I believe that its D. The correct answer is D.

Explanation: This excerpt from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "Paul Revere's Ride"  introduces the character of Paul Revere and, most importantly, the mission he carried out.

In this passage, the author explains in the form of a poem, the actions that were taken by Paul Revere. It explains how Revere indicated his friends to hang lanterns in the North Church tower if the British started marching towards their territory. Then, if Revere saw the signal, he would ride to spread the alarm through Middlesex so that the villagers would be ready to defend themselves.

Hope this helps you out! :)

Why is a sonnet an effective way for Romeo and Juliet to
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

The sonnet is an effective way for Romeo and Juliet to speak when they first meet for two reasons. First, sonnets were often about love. Therefore, it is fitting that they would speak in a sonnet when they first meet. Second, a sonnet is a 14-line poem. When they first meet, Romeo and Juliet share a sonnet, as their lines are distributed over the 14 lines. Their words join together to form a single poem, making this the second reason it is fitting for them to speak in sonnet.
