The sun cannot be long hidden because the sun is necessary for life of any kind.
The moon cannot be long hidden because we need the moon to light up the night.
The truth cannot be long hidden because if you don't consistently tell the truth, people will not trust you. Trust is necessary for a valid relationship with anybody.
