There were many laws passed during the Tokugawa period which lasted from 1600 to 1868. The most important laws during this period would probably be "sankin kotai" and "Buke shohatto". "Senkin kotai" refers to the law that all of the daimyo, that is feudal lords, have to spend a certain amount of time every other year in Edo, the capital, away from their provinces. Their wives and heirs would remain in Edo as some sort of political hostages. This was a way for the shoguns to maintain control over the feudal lords. In 1862 this law was relaxed somewhat. The "Buke shohatto" were laws for various warrior houses for feudal lords and the samurai aristocracy. They were also sees as edicts which described the honorable and proper behavior for daimyo.

Answer: B. False Consensus bias

Explanation: False Consensus bias occurs when an individual tends to overestimate the significance of his own personal idea, notion, values, stance believing every other person will concur with his or her decision. It is an attributional type of cognitive bias whereby an individual strongly believes that his idea or opinion is normal and thus other people should also reason, adopt or act with the same idea. When people or group negates their ideas or opinion, they feel such individual or group aren't doing the right thing because they feel their opinion is the 'normal' standard of reasoning.

atroni [7]

Volunteer fire fighters are typically notified through pagers.

- The most common method for notifying emergency responders is still using fire service pagers. Because they can deliver messages to several recipients at once, run on high-capacity batteries for a longer lifespan, and are resistant to severe situations, they are practical.

- The Minitor, which is carried on the person and typically left in selected call mode, is about the size of a pack of cigarettes. When the device is turned on, the pager emits a tone alert, followed by a dispatcher's announcement informing the user of an emergency.

- Emergency medical personnel and paid firefighters may also use fire pagers, despite the fact that volunteer firefighters frequently carry them.
