I wrote this for math class, does it make sense?A very famous equation, Euler’s identity relates the seemingly random values of

pi, e, and the square root of -1. It is considered by many to be the most beautiful equation in mathematics.
A more general formula is

e^{i x} = \cos x + i \sin x

When x = \pi , the value of \cos x is -1, while i\sin x is 0, resulting in Euler’s identity, as -1 + 1 = 0.

Also please don't hate I am only in sixth grade...

if a 20 foot ladder makes a 50 degree angle with the ground, how many feet up a wall will it reach. Round to the nearest tenth.
GalinKa [24]

Answer: The ladder would reach 15.3 ft up the wall

Step-by-step explanation: Please refer to the attached diagram.

If the ladder (represented by line AC) rests on the wall (represented by line AB), it forms an angle of 50 with the ground (at point C). The ground is represented by line BC.

We need to remember that we have one side and one angle given in this question. The given side is the hypotenuse (the side facing the right angle, B in this case) and the given angle is the reference angle. The unknown side which is x, is the opposite as it is facing the reference angle.

Having the opposite and the hypotenuse, we can use the Sine ratio which is,

Sine C = opposite/hypotenuse

Sine 50 = x/20

Checking our table of values or by use of our calculator, sin 50 is 0.766

Sin 50 = x/20

0.766 = x/20

By cross multiplication, we now have our equation rewritten as;

0.766 (20) = x

15.32 = x

Rounded to the nearest tenth,

x = 15.3 ft

Volume of rectangular prism is first edge*second edge*third edge (product of
prism dimensions)
1st edge has 4 small cubes , edge of the small cube=1/4,
so 1st edge of the large cube =1/4*4=4/4 (it could be written as 1)
2d edge has 3 small cubes , so  2d edge= 3*1/4=3/4
3d edge has also 3 small cubes , so 3d edge= 3*1/4=3/4
Volume= first edge*second edge*third edge=4/4*3/4*3/4=1*3/4*3/4=9/16
Answer 4/4*3/4*3/4=9/16

f(x) time g(x) is basically what they wnat

so

(x^2+8x+15) times (5/(x^2-9))
hold a sec, first factor each
(x+3)(x+5) times 5/((x-3)(x+3))
we get
((x+3)(x+5)(5))/((x-3)(x+3))
(x+30 cancels out
((x+5)(5))/(x-3)
(5x+25)/(x-3)

On October 15, 2019, Jon purchased and placed in service a used car. The purchase price was $38,000. This was the only business
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

cost recovery deduction = $1520

Step-by-step explanation:

given data

purchase price = $38,000

used the car  business  = 80%

used the car  personal = 20%

solution

cost recovery limit are

cost recovery limit = asset value × statutory % × mid quater convention   ..........1

we know car which have 5 year MACRS convention and as per MACRS depreciated 20 % in 1st year

and here this car is use so no 1st year depreciation

so we use MACRS statutory % method

cost recovery limit = $38000 × 5%

cost recovery limit = $1900

we know maximum limit is $3160

so cost of recovery is $1900

so

cost recovery deduction is

cost recovery deduction = cost recovery limit - personal use

cost recovery deduction = $1900 - ( $1900 × 20% )

cost recovery deduction = $1520
