The sports injuries can be classified into two types such as acute and chronic. Acute injuries are those that occurs suddenly. Chronic injuries are those that are caused by overusing of certain group of muscles. When acute injuries happens it should be assessed properly and treated before it leads to serious problems. Thus it is very essential to stop the play from further making the injuries worse is the first step in the procedure of assessing this type of acute sports injuries.
