Hello, I believe the correct answer is D.

The religions beliefs of the Indus Valley civilization are subject of debate even today, <span>due to the sparsity of evidence on the topic. There are many different theories, but the general consensus seems to be that they probably worshiped more then one deity.

The correct answer is D.

After World War II, the United States was afraid that the idea of communism would spread to countries who were unstable, financially speaking, after World War II. If communism spread, this would allow the Soviet Union to continue to gain power and influence. This would not be good for the US, as they believed a communist system would lead to more government corruption and less freedom for citizens.

To ensure this doesn't happen, George C. Marshall introduced the Marshall Plan. This plan would end up giving $13 billion to European countries in order to support their economy. From there, the countries could create a political and economic structure similar to the one that the United States uses.

Which of the following phrases defines the term altitude? the height of a region in relation to sea level, the ratio of the dist
fgiga [73]

Answer:

A. The height of a region in relation to sea level

Explanation:

Altitude is the height of a region in relation to sea level, the highest the altitude, the lower the atmospheric pressure, meaning that there will be fewer oxygen molecules and it may cause serious problems to our health. Although most humans live in regions relatively close to the sea level and can not be in regions of 4,900 ft altitudes for long without getting affected, there are certain human populations that have acquired the ability to live normally in high altitudes, such as in the case of people living in Tibet, Asia, people living in the Andes, South America, and those living in Ethiopia, Africa.

Which statement about bias in social studies sources is true?
Andrei [34K]

Answer: A. Most social studies sources contain some bias.

Bias is almost inevitable whenever we produce material in the social sciences. Authors have unconscious biases that often permeate writting, even when precautions are taken. However, it is important to try to reduce the impact of bias on our research. Choosing peer-reviewed sources helps, as this shows that other experts share the author's opinion. We also need to consult several sources on the topic, so that we do not get all our information from a single author.
