Read the excerpt from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The table was a large one, but the three were all crowded together at on

e corner of it: 'No room! No room!' they cried out when they saw Alice coming. 'There's PLENTY of room!' said Alice indignantly, and she sat down in a large arm-chair at one end of the table. This is an example of an external conflict because it features person versus self. person versus person. person versus society. person versus nature.

Answer: Person versus Society

Explanation:

In the External Conflict known as Person vs Society, the protagonist goes against the norms and activities of society or the group they are in out of defiance or belief.

Alice in this scenario was told that there was no room at the table yet she indignantly stated in opposition that there was room and went ahead to sit at the table. She as protagonist, went against the views of the group in the room so this is a Person Versus Society conflict.

It seems that a Flowchart would be most effective because you can see the difference of how close the students test scores are almost identical to them taking notes. You are able to see the decrease or increase of how much attention they give to it and how much they don't.

Hope this helps and have a fantastic day!

In this passage from Henry David Thoreau's Walden, the narrator uses strong sensory language to create clear images - to, in essence, paint a clear picture in words - of the forest and the hills. The narrator is able, through the use of such strong sensory language and imagery to give the read a clear image of what he is describing, which, in turns, makes the scene he is describing come to life.
