Answer:

Each pound of chocolate chips costs $ 1.5 and each pound of walnuts cost $ 3.75 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, each pound of  chocolate chips costs  $ x and each pound of walnuts costs $ y.

Then,  according to the question,

5x + 6y = 30 --------------(1)   and,

3x + 2y = 12 ----------------(2)

Multiplying (2) by 3 we get,

9x + 6y = 36 ---------------------(3)

Deducting  (1) from  (3) we get,

4x = 6

⇒ x = 1.5 ----------------------(4)

From (4), putting the value of x in (2) , we get,

2y = 7.5

⇒ y = 3.75 ---------------------------(5)

If the cylinder above is similar to a second cylinder that has a radius of 10mm, what is the height of the second cylinder
julsineya [31]

Answer:

The height of the second cylinder is 30mm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Cylinder 1:

R = 15mm

H = 45mm

Cylinder 2

r = 10mm

See attachment

Required

Determine h, the height of the small one

To do this, we make use of the following equivalent ratios;

R : H = r : h

This gives:

15 : 45 = 10 : h

Express as fraction

\frac{15 }{ 45 }= \frac{10 }{ h}

Simplify

\frac{1 }{ 3}= \frac{10 }{ h}

Cross multiply

h *1 = 3 * 10

h = 30

Combine each pair of equations solve the combined equation 3j +14=-5z-10j=5z
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Given data:

The first equation is 3j +14=-5z.

The second equation is -10j=5z .

Add both the equations.

\begin{gathered} (3j+14)+(-10j)=-5z+5z \\ -7j+14=0 \\ 7j=14 \\ j=2 \end{gathered}

Substitute 2 for j in the first equation.

\begin{gathered} 3(2)+14=-5z \\ 20=-5z \\ z=-4 \end{gathered}

Thus, the value of j is 2 and z is -4.

Please can you answer question b
alexira [117]

   198 + (199*3) + (200*2) +(201*5) + (202*2) = 2604

frequency = 1 + 3 +2 + 5 + 2 = 13

201 = (2604 + x )/14
multiply both sides by 14
x = 201*14 = 2604 +x

x = 2814 = 2604 +x

subtract 2604 from both sides:

x = 2814 - 2604
x = 210 cm

height of new player = 210 cm
